After staying at a nearby Marriott and dealing with daily construction for two weeks, my wife, young daughter and I decided to stay 5 nights at The Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa. What a great decision! The Renaissance was the first resort we stayed at many years ago. Upon arrival we remembered why we consider this resort our 2nd home. The staff made us feel so incredibly welcome and being a lifetime Marriott Rewards Platinum Lifetime member, we were upgraded to a large 1 bedroom suite which includes a small kitchenette. Beautiful. The beach is beautiful, the grounds gorgeous, the pool, amazing, and the sunsets incredible. However, what made this stay special for us is the incredible team at the Renaissance. I cannot refer the them as staff or employees, these people work as a well oiled machine who obviously love their job and are 100% committed to ensuring their guests are happy and are beyond satisfied with their stay. Some team members that we must mention include: Vasco Pacheco - Guest Service & Loyalty Manager, who went out of his way to ensure we were having a great stay.
